On Data Privacy Day learn how to lock down your iPhone

If you’re more concerned about someone stealing your data than you losing your data, then these are the iOS security tips you need to know!

Security, like privacy, is always at war with convenience. You want to be able to get to all of your stuff, all the time, as quickly and easily as possible, but you don’t want anyone else to get to any of it, at all ever. But the easier you make it for you, the easier you make it for them. And the harder you make it for them, the harder you make it for you. Touch ID, Face ID, iCloud Keychain, AutoFill — there are tools Apple and others provide to try to better balance security and convenience, but they all have their trade-offs.

You might think that’s just great. You have nothing to hide on your phone or tablet or computer, so if you can keep casual snoopers out but still get in right quick, so much the better. If that’s cool, keep it cool.

HyperX is coming in clutch with a new Nintendo Switch battery charger

Give your Nintendo Switch some extra juice with this portable battery charger.

I take my Nintendo Switch with me just about everywhere; when I go to a doctor’s appointment, when I go on a trip, or when I’m going to hang out with my friends. It’s an amazing handheld that provides me with hours of entertainment. The only problem is that eventually that battery runs out of juice leaving me no choice but to turn the Switch off until I can get it home to its Dock.

Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to extend your Switch’s battery life. One such way is with HyperX’s new ChargePlay Clutch battery charging case. I tested this accessory for 16 hours to see how well it worked with the Switch. While it isn’t perfect, it can help you add several hours of extra battery life to your console.

Keep your iPhone locked away from prying eyes with strong passwords

The iPhone and iPad make our lives more convenient than ever, but they can also help us make them more private and more secure. Here’s how!

Security is at perpetual war with convenience. The faster and easier it is for us to get to our stuff, the faster and easier it is for someone else to try to break in. Make it tougher for them, though, and it can get tougher for us as well. One of the biggest advantages the iPhone and iPad give us is a better balance of the two. Touch ID and Face ID let us have strong passwords but also biometric access. iCloud Keychain lets us have unique passwords but not have to remember them all. Two-step authentication protects our accounts but in a way that’s still simple to use. That said, the iPhone and iPad also have options that help us be even more private and secure. Here’s how to use them!

1. Be strong

If you have a recent iPhone or iPad, you have one of Apple’s personal identity sensors—Touch ID or Face ID. It lets you use biometrics to authe…

Keep dust, dirt and other nasties out of your keyboard

There are so many ways your MacBook’s keyboard can get dirty. Naturally occurring oils from your fingertips collect on the keys, dust and dirt particles can gather in the crevices, and drink can spill while you work. We won’t even talk about what a moody cat is capable of. Keep dust, dirt, and spills from gumming up your keyboard with a good keyboard cover. Some keyboard covers even have special features, like the JRC Shortcut Keyboard Cover, which has useful keyboard shortcuts printed on it. Before purchasing, make sure your model MacBook (Air or Pro) matches the cover you’re getting. Keyboard covers are not one-size-fits-all.

Best Overall: JRC Shortcut Keyboard Cover

The JRC Shortcut Keyboard Cover is more than just a protective keyboard cover; it’s actually a keyboard shortcut cheat sheet. For example, if you choose the ”Soothing Color” keyboard cover, the Command key is light blue. The letter ”X” key has a small light blue box and the word ”cut.” So, this reminds you that Com…

It matches whichever exterior color you choose, and just like most MacBook cases, these are made from hard plastic and feature an anti-slip rubberized coating.

Will Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore be getting any DLC?

Best answer: No, there will be no paid DLC for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore on the Nintendo Switch. However, all Wii U DLC is included, and the game comes with some new, free content and updates already added.

Become the idol of your dreams: Tokyo Mirage Sesssions #FE Encore($60 at Amazon)

Is there any new, free DLC I can get?

You can’t download any separate DLC for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. However, the game already has some new, bonus content that wasn’t in the original game. That content includes several new dungeons, as well as new character story sidequests interspersed throughout the game. You’ll encounter these as you play, and we don’t want to spoil them for you, but if you played the Wii U version, be on the lookout for the new scenarios.

There are also a few new battle options, including the ability to bring Tiki in on Session Attacks (which unlocks a few chapters into the game) and the ability to speed up Session Attacks (trust me, they get very long late…

Celebrate Data Privacy Day by locking your iPhone down!

’Privacy now is like security in the days of Windows XP. No one cared about it until everyone cared about it.’

Privacy, like security, is continuously at war with convenience. The internet and app stores are filled with ”free” products that will do amazing things for your productivity and entertainment, all in exchange for as much of your private, personal data as they can convince you to give them. That includes scanning your messages, tracking your location, uploading your contacts, copying all your photos, mapping all your relationships, and otherwise building as complete a model for you and your life as possible.

You might think that’s great. You have nothing to hide so if Facebook or Google or government agencies or even casual observers know everything about you, who cares? You’re getting a ton of valuable stuff essentially at no cost to you. If that’s you, just keep doing you.

Or, you might think, you can always make more money but you can never get your private messages …
