Don’t carry around your new MacBook Air bare! Get a case!

In almost every conceivable way, the MacBook Air with Retina display is smaller than the previous MacBook Air while still having a 13.3-inch display. It has 17% less volume than the previous MacBook Air, being shorter, shallower, and lighter than its predecessor. This means that soft cases, bags, and sleeves for the older MacBook Air will work just fine with the new model; however, hard cases will not. If you’re looking to carry around you’re new MacBook Air in something to protect it when you’re on the move, here are our favorite options.

Keyboard cover included

Minimalist in design, this clear polycarbonate case covers the top and bottom of your MacBook Air, preventing scratches and minor scuffs from damaging your laptop. The case even raises onto the sides of the device, so it should help protect the corners as well. The ProCase also comes with an included silicone keyboard covers, so it will keep crumbs and other debris from getting i…

Apple releases watchOS 6.1.2 developer beta 3

Installing the watchOS 6 beta is more complex than an iOS or macOS beta, but it’s also for developers only.

Of Apple’s four primary operating systems (iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS), only watchOS lacks a public beta, which isn’t surprising, given how comparatively complicated is. You need to install a certificate on your Apple Watch, then download the software to your iPhone running the iOS 13 beta, transfer it across, and get it up and running. It’s not hard, but it does take patience and you may have to troubleshoot.

Apple occasionally offers updates to iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS as closed developer previews or public betas for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac (sadly, no public beta for the Apple Watch). While the betas contain new features, they also contain pre-release bugs that can prevent the normal use of your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, or Mac, and are not intended for everyday use on a primary device. That’s why we strongly recommend staying away from develope…

Apple releases tvOS 13.3.1 beta 3 for developers

Installing the tvOS 13 beta is more complex than an iOS or macOS beta, but it’s also for developers only.

Just like with iOS and macOS, Apple makes beta versions of tvOS available for developers to test. But unlike the betas for other systems, installing it on the Apple TV (4th generation) or Apple TV 4K is more complicated than a simple download and go. If you’re a developer and you’re having trouble getting the tvOS beta installed, here’s what you need to do.

Unlike Apple’s other operating systems, you can’t back up your Apple TV; as such, Apple offers two options for updating tvOS: over the air, which just updates the system; and via USB-C, which restores the device to its factory settings.

Apple occasionally offers updates to iOS, watchOS, tvOS, and macOS as closed developer previews or public betas for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac (sadly, no public beta for the Apple Watch). While the betas contain new features, they also contain pre-release bugs that can prevent the nor…

Your battle guide to Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore

Is your Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE battle strategy falling flat? Here’s how to sharpen it up and stay in tune.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE has a lot of battling in it. It’s a JRPG, after all, which inevitably means you’ll be grinding out a lot of battles to gain new skills, obtain new ranks, and defeat the next boss standing in your way. The game is, fortunately, a bit light on system and mechanics so it’s not terribly inaccessible, but you still may struggle a bit if you’re not used to either Shin Megami Tensei or Fire Emblem.

Here are some tips on casting Masterful spells in Wizards Unite!

Trying to cast Masterful spells in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite? Try some of these tips!

Expelliarmus! Now that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is out, everyone can be a witch or wizard, and cast powerful spells with a flick of the finger. You’ll need to have great spellcasting abilities if you want to get rid of those evil Calamity forces and other Confoundables.

The key to overpowering Confoundables and returning Foundables before they get away is to cast Masterful spells. Masterful casts increase your odds of success and also net you 100 wizarding XP on top of everything else (Good and Great also get you experience bonuses, but Fair does not). However, be warned that just because you were able to cast a spell Masterfully, it does not guarantee that you’ll overpower or defeat the Confoundable—a Masterful cast only means that you increase your chances of being successful. Still, it is never 100 percent. This is the same with Excellent throws in Pokémon Go, one of Niantic’s other AR …

Become a pop star and save the world in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore

It’s definitely not for everyone, but Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is a fun JRPG set in the glittering world of J-Pop with some Atlus and Fire Emblem elements sprinkled in.

From looking at teasers and screenshots, it can be hard to tell what this game is about, and that’s because it’s a pretty strange concept. I mean, pop music and RPGs don’t have a lot in common. Basically, if you’ve ever wanted to be a pop star with a secret hero identity, now’s your chance with Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore.

Players take control of a group of teenagers who are out to save the world from an invading force of evil Mirages that are trying to steal everyone’s Performa – basically their talent. The game asserts that the best way to combat this evil is by doing two things: 1. Becoming a pop star and 2. Fighting alongside the good Mirages of popular Fire Emblem characters.

The game originally released on Wii U in 2015, but due to the fact that Nintendo’s previous console wasn’t very popular, ma…
