Learn about Pokémon Home and see which Pokémon made it into Gen 8’s Pokédex

It’s finally happening. After years of catching hard-earned Pokémon from different games and wondering if we’d ever be able to use them again, the Pokémon Company has come through with a new trading and storage system.

During the 2019 Pokémon Press Conference, Game Freak’s director, Junichi Masuda, announced a new cloud service called Pokémon Home. It’s a Pokémon storage and trading service that works with the Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and the 3DS storage system — Pokémon Bank.

We’ve also created a list of all of the Pokémon from pre-existing games that have made it into Sword and Shield’s Pokédex.

The 1984 Super Bowl spot is just one of many memorable Apple ads

Recently, I went back and took a look at all the best iPad commercials over the past 10 years, and I even talked about my favorite iPod ads, and it was really cool to see how Apple has positioned its products (and its brand at large) with these ads. Long before the iPad and the iPod, though, Apple was making some huge ads to sell Macs and build up their brand.

From iconic ads that ran during the Superbowl to the simple TV spots that we remember years later, here are some of the greatest Apple advertisements of all time.

Two Kinds of People (1983)

This ad is sometimes forgotten by people, probably because the Apple Lisa Computer (which was featured in this ad) wasn’t nearly as popular as the Macintosh that came out the year after. The ads central messaging would set the stage for Apple advertising for years to come. The narrated line that reads ”Soon there will be just two kinds of people… those that use computers…and those that use Apples.” really is when Apple started pushing…

There are lots of streaming video services – here’s why Disney+ is my fave

The number of streaming services that my husband and I are subscribed to is approaching the double digits (crazy). Off the top of my head, we have: Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, HBO Now, Amazon Prime Video, DC Universe, Apple TV+, and Disney+. This is just streaming video services alone — but at least we have all the bases covered (I think).

Still, despite the outrageous number of video streaming services that we currently pay for, I have been getting the most use out of my Disney+ sub, which I have paid for three years in advance when they had the D23 member deal last August.

It may seem a bit silly, but let me explain why Disney+ is one of the must-have streaming services that I don’t think I could give up.

Have an iPhone XR with no signal on O2? Download iOS 13.3.1 to fix it now

What you need to know

Earlier this month some iPhone XR users started having problems on O2.
They were suffering from a loss of signal and Apple said a fix was coming.
With the arrival of iOS 13.3.1, that fix has now arrived.

Go get it!

Earlier this month we told you about a number of iPhone XR users experiencing signal issues when using the UK carrier O2. Both data and voice were impacted, and at the time Apple promised an update would get things back on track. That update is iOS 13.3.1 – and you can download it now.

While the release notes for iOS 13.3.1 didn’t specifically mention that the O2 fix was applied, I’ve seen multiple instances of the official O2 Twitter account pointing people in the direction of the update.

Hi Billy, iOS 13.3.1 is now available to download. Go to Settings > General > Software update.— O2 in the UK (@O2) January 29, 2020

Several ”O2 Gurus” have also posted to suggest they’ve updated and all is well, too.
