MacPaw has announced that Setapp for Teams is now available as a public beta, starting at just $8.99 per user for a team of four users.

As noted by MacRumors, Setapp was previously launched in 2017 as a subscription service for individual users which offered access to over 60 Mac apps for $9.99 a month. The Setapp library now features more than 160 apps, and now there's a new subscription plan aimed specifically at companies and organizations.

The press release states:

Setapp for Teams offers an entire software catalog in one subscription that costs the same as you would pay for almost any app from the library. For teams working on Macs, Setapp for Teams is the only service offering complete freedom from advertising, in-app purchases, and paid updates. It's the same winning formula that made our consumer-oriented product Setapp so acclaimed. This year Setapp was named one of the top 10 most innovative companies in Europe by Fast Company and the Best SaaS Product for Productivity by SaaS Awards.

Setapp for Teams, now in public beta, gives users access to the same apps as the regular subscription at a slightly lower price. If you sign up as a team of four, each user pays $8.99 (+VAT). Add additional team members (or additional devices) for just $7.99. The service is essentially a bulk-buy discount for teams and businesses.

Apps available include Timing, Ulysses, CleanMyMac X, Paw, PDFpen, MindNode and more. As mentioned Setapp for Team is now available as a public beta and you get the first month free!
