How do you unlock karts in Mario Kart Tour?

There are a few ways to acquire karts. You can purchase them from the Shop using coins, randomly get one by spending rubies to fire a pipe, or receive them as rewards for completing specific cups. You can acquire coins and rubies by logging in each day, completing cups, scoring high within your ranking tier, or by spending real-world money in microtransactions.

Well there you have it, all of the vehicles we currently know to exist in Mario Kart Tour. As you race you'll want to keep in mind which karts have an advantage on which courses. That way you'll be more likely to earn more points, score better on the global rankings, and earn plenty of rubies and coins. Keeping in mind each kart's special skill will also come in handy on specific courses. You'll have to unlock them in order to test them all out.
