Meerkat adds GoPro support for streaming your latest extreme adventure

It looks like live streaming app Meerkat is kicking things up a notch. Users should now be able to stream through Meerkat using their GoPro 3, while GoPro 4 support is being worked on in the beta version of the app.

Overall, it looks like Meerkat has made the process incredibly simple, only requiring users to shake their phone after opening up Meerkat on an iPhone connected to a GoPro for access. The possibilities for this are pretty darn cool, and we imagine you'll start seeing people streaming everything from extreme sports to underwater adventures in HD.

Meerkat was light on details, but it looks like support for the GoPro 3 should be in the App Store version of the app now, while support for GoPro 4 will come after a beta test.
