What’s new on the App Store: Shopping with Jet, new puzzles, and apps for Accessibility

Every week, the App Store highlights some of the best new and updated apps. This time, there's a new mobile shopping app, new platform, puzzle, and arcade games, and a celebration of Accessibility.

New on the App Store, we have Jet, the app for the new Amazon rival of the same name. There is also a new educational astronomy app, Stephen Hawking's Snapshots of the Universe. For those looking for a new keyboard, there's Etch, a gesture-based keyboard that lets you set up custom simple shapes to type out your messages.

New games this week include To-Fu Fury, a new puzzle-platform game with a healthy side of action. Bandi has released PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX, a spin on the arcade classic. We also have the medieval-themed match puzzle game The Long Siege. Finally, there's Prune, a new game about caring for trees, letting you shape them to gather sunlight while avoiding hazards.

With next week marking 25 years since the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Apple has gathered a number of apps designed to help improve people's lives. There are apps like TapTapSee, which help blind and visually impaired users identify objects. Marlee Signs and Sign 4 Me aid in communication using sign language. Apps like Grace help non-verbal people communicate with pictures.

Be sure to check back next week for more great new apps and games from the App Store.
