Apple releases OS X El Capitan beta 5 to developers

Apple has pushed out the fifth developer beta for OS X El Capitan. Interested developers can download the latest update through the Mac App Store if their Mac is running the previous beta version, or from the Mac Developer Center.

This update comes less than a week after Apple released El Capitan beta 4 to developers. The full release of OS X 10.11 is expected to land this fall, bringing a number of improvements to Spotlight search, Safari, and the expansion of the Metal graphics framework from iOS to the Mac.
