Tim Cook to take part in opening fireside chat at BoxWorks conference on Sept. 29

While we wait for Apple to officially announce its upcoming iPhone media event, its CEO Tim Cook is already confirmed to be speaking on September 29 at the BoxWorks conference in San Francisco as part of its opening "fireside" chat. The event is held annually by Box, the company that offers enterprise customers a cloud-based data storage service, among other things.

In a blog post, Box CEO Aaron Levie says:

Tim and I will discuss Apple's role in enterprise, and where they plan to go from here. Beyond Apple's unfathomable influence on the technology landscape, I admire Tim immensely as a leader and an individual, and hopefully we can also talk about his impact beyond tech to make the world a better place.

Apple has never had as big of a presence in enterprise businesses compared to rivals like Microsoft and Google, so it might be interesting to hear what Cook has to say on that front.
