OmniFocus 2 for Mac scores performance improvements in latest update

Popular task management app OmniFocus has received an update on the Mac App Store, bringing along some minor tweaks and bug fixes. Here's the breakdown of what's new in OmniFocus version 2.2.4:

  • Crash — Made some changes to help track down a crash common in pre-release versions of OS X related to fonts.
  • Performance — Improved performance when scrolling and switching perspectives.

Overall, this one is pretty minor, but improved performance is never anything to scoff at, and neither is the increased effort to track down crashes ahead of the release of OS X El Capitan. OmniFocus' last big update came in February when the app got a new look to bring its aesthetic up to snuff with OS X Yosemite, along with new sharing options and extensions.
