Apple said to be prepping new iPad keyboard, Apple Watch finishes

Apple is reportedly readying a keyboard accessory for the rumored iPad Pro to go along with expanded keyboard support said to be a part of the larger tablet. The keyboard is apparently set to debut by the end of the year, which would line up with previous reports of the iPad Pro launching in November, following a reveal at next week's iPhone event.

From The New York Times:

Apple will also showcase updated iPads, according to a person briefed on the product. And the company is putting the finishing touches on a revamped iPad keyboard that may be available by the end of the year.

9to5Mac also reports that a keyboard accessory is in the works, along with the usual collection of cases and covers in various colors.

Apart from new iPhones, iPads, and a revamped Apple TV, The New York Times is also reporting that Apple may also reveal new metal finishes for the Apple Watch at Wednesday's event. The company reportedly has a less expensive gold model, likely a Sport or stainless steel watch with a gold finish.

iMore will be at the event on Wednesday, September 9, to bring you the latest on all of Apple's announcements, so be sure to stay tuned.
