iOS 9.0.1 update released for iPhone 6s, 6s Plus

While it was released for most devices already, Apple has released a version of its iOS 9.0.1 update for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. This update fixes a few issues with iOS 9, including an issue with the setup assistant.

  • Fixes an issue where some users could not complete setup assistant after updating
  • Fixes an issue where sometimes alarms and timers could fail to play
  • Fixes an issue in Safari and Photos where pausing video could cause the paused frame to appear distorted
  • Fixes an issue where some users with a custom APN setup via a profile would lose cellular data

After customers start getting their new phones, they will be able to update them either over-the-air or through iTunes.
