iTunes, App Stores hit with second outage this week

The iTunes Store is currently experiencing a bit of an outage, according to Apple. Some users are unable to purchase and download items from the store. This issues may also be affecting the App Store as well.

This outage has been underway since at least 12:30 p.m. EDT, according to Apple's System Status page. This is the second outage for Apple's digital stores this week, with both the iTunes and App Stores experiencing extended downtime for many users just yesterday.
