New Apple TV goes up for pre-order at Best Buy for November 4 release

The new Apple TV has been up for pre-order since earlier this week from Apple, and now Best Buy is getting in on the action. The latest iteration of Apple's set-top box is now available for pre-order from Best Buy in both the $149.99 32GB configuration, as well as the $199.99 64GB model.

While Apple TV units ordered directly from Apple will start arriving for customers on Friday, October 30, Best Buy is listing the release date for the box as November 4. This is not only when orders will ship, but also when the device will be available for in-store pickup.

The new Apple TV was originally announced back in September. It is the biggest update the device has seen since 2010, sporting more powerful hardware and offering a refreshed interface, support for third-party apps, universal search, and voice control with Siri.
