What’s new on the App Store: Pixlr, The Room Three, and the best apps of October

Each week, the App Store highlights some of the best new and updated apps. This week, we have a big update for Pixlr, new puzzles with The Room Three, and the best of October.

This week, we start with a big update to Yousician, which now works for guitar and piano and has added several new exercises. Autodesk's Pixlr got a brand new interface, new social features, and new tools. Action Movie FX, the app from J.J. Abram's Bad Robot, has added 7 new effects from the Star Wars universe. Finally, you can grab The Peanuts Official Storybook App, which corresponds with the upcoming movie.

New games this week start off with The Room Three, the next game in the highly-praised puzzle series. There's a new LEGO game with LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin. Finally, the makers of Candy Crush have launched a new game, Blossom Blast Saga.

This week on the store, Apple is highlighting the best apps and games of October. October saw a number of interesting and fun releases and updates, with Boomerang from Instagram being named the best app, and Downwell taking the spot for best game. Other popular apps for October include games like Dungeon Boss and Star Wars: Uprising, and apps like Tweetbot 4 and GIPHY.
