iDevices introduces new wave of HomeKit-powered products

iDevices has introduced a new lineup of HomeKit, adding to the company's existing lineup of connected home products. Coming later this year, iDevices' second HomeKit wave will feature the Socket, Wall Switch, Dimmer Switch, and Wall Outlet.

The iDevices Socket screws into any standard light bulb socket, and then in turn takes a standard light bulb. This allows you to control individual lights from the company's iDevices Connected app or other HomeKit-compatible control application.

With the Wall and Dimmer Switches, iDevices is looking to integrate itself into your home in a way it hasn't before. These products replace your standard light switches, and allow you to control the lighting for a whole room from just about anywhere. Both support both single pole and three-way switches.

iDevices' Wall Outlet is an integrated version of the company's Switch product, first introduced last year. Replacing your standard outlets, the Wall Outlet allows you to control and schedule power to either socket individually.

These products will be available later this year, with the Socket arriving in Q1 2016. The Wall and Dimmer Switches will come in Q2 2016, while the Wall Socket will arrive in Q3 2016. No pricing information for these products has been announced.
