You can order the Echo Dot through the Amazon app on your iPhone

If you are interested in ordering an Echo Dot, but aren't around your Echo to use the voice command (or have an Echo yet), you can actually order it from your iPhone. When it was announced, Amazon said that you could only order the Echo Dot through an existing Echo ("Alexa, order an Echo Dot"), but it appears as though that isn't the only way to place your order. All you will need is an iPhone and the Amazon app and you can buy one now. So, here's how you can order it from your phone.

Open Amazon app
Search Echo Dot
Swipe right to add to cart
Open cart and purchase

That's it. You need to swipe to add it to your cart, you won't be able to tap on the listing and add it to your cart from there. Will you be purchasing the Echo Dot? Let us know in the comments!
