Supposed iPhone SE packaging leak points to Apple Pay support

A photo, supposedly of packaging for the iPhone SE, has appeared online. If accurate, the image show that Apple's new phone, unsurprisingly, will have a 16GB storage option. The packaging also says that the phone will come with NFC, likely indicating Apple Pay support.

The image comes from Chinese social network Sina Weibo (via MacRumors):

As always, take this leak with a grain of salt, and remember that nothing is official until Apple announces it. However, this leak, such as it is, lines up with previous reports about the new four-inch phone.

The iPhone SE is expected to be announced next week at Apple's "Let Us Keep You In the Loop" event. It will reportedly have an Apple A9 system-on-a-chip, along with other iPhone 6s-class internal hardware. iMore will be there live to bring you the latest new on the iPhone SE and any other announcements Apple makes next week.
