Angry Birds creator Rovio brings ToonsTV family video channel to new Apple TV

Rovio may be best known for their successful Angry Birds mobile game franchise, however, the Finland-based company has branched out into other businesses. One of them is ToonTV, the latest channel for the new Apple TV set-top box.

Rovio says:

Enter ToonsTV for Apple TV, available now worldwide on the Apple TV App Store as a completely free download with no in-app purchases, featuring more than 30 channels of quality family entertainment from Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep by Aardman to Zooville by National Geographic and Angry Birds Toons by a certain company based in beautiful Espoo, Finland.

ToonsTV is also offering some special Easter-themed content and programming including an ""Eggs, Eggs, Eggs" channel that will have a special "EggsHaustion" episode of Angry Birds Toons.
