What’s new on the App Store: Reddit, PKTBALL, and 50% off select games

Each week, the App Store highlights some of the best new and updated apps. This week, take a look at Reddit, PKTBALL, and discounted games.

We start our look at new apps this week with the brand new Reddit app for iPhone, which lets you easily interact with the popular forum on the go. HOOKED lets you create stories that look like text messages. Golf fans can get ready for The Masters Tournament with its official app. Finally, if you're in the market to buy or sell a used car, check out Beepi, which helps you to just that.

Games this week begin with PKTBALL, a new game that feels like an intense, modern version of Pong. Chameleon Run is a new autorunner that challenges you to match your character's color to your environment. Be sure to also take a look at Disney Crossy Road, which has you dodging obstacles and hazards while trying to cross different arenas. You should also take a look at CATTCH, a new colorful platformer.

This week, the App Store is holding a sale on games that only require you to pay up front. There are several titles on sale, including the meditative Prune, action RPG Transistor, or the 8-bit-inspired Downwell. All of these games are available at 50% off their normal prices.

Check back next week for more new apps and games from the App Store, and remember to check out this week's Free App of the Week.
