Former Apple designer Daniel Coster heads to GoPro

Long-time Apple industrial design team member Daniel Coster has departed Apple to become a vice president of design at GoPro. Coster had worked at Apple since the 90s, working on products such as the original iMac, along with the iPhone and iPad.

Coster actually talked about the move almost a month ago in an interview with New Zealand's Stuff (via Neil Cybart):

What are your future goals in life?

"I want more time with my family and friends. And to explore this new opportunity at GoPro."

The Information reports that GoPro has only recently informed employees of the hire, with Coster formally beginning his role at the company at the end of April.
