You can now add materials to iTunes U from iCloud Drive, Dropbox and more

Apple has pushed out a fresh update to iTunes U for iPhone and iPad, bringing a number of improvements and new features. Perhaps most notably, the latest update adds the ability to import materials from various cloud services like iCloud Drive, Google Drive and Dropbox.

Here's the full rundown on what's new in iTunes U version 3.3:

  • Import Managed Class Rosters from Apple School Manager
  • Guide students to specific iTunes U Courses from the Classroom app
  • Add materials from various document providers (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
  • Use Explain Everything and Notability project files as course materials or hand-ins from students
  • Minor performance and stability improvements
