Siri is headed to the Mac in macOS Sierra

As expected, Apple has announced that Siri is coming to the Mac in the newly announced macOS Sierra. Available as an option in the menu bar, you can quickly click Siri to ask a question.

As you'd expect, Siri operates on macOS in much the same way it does on your iPhone. However, you can also use Siri to perform sophisticated file queries much like Spotlight. You'll be able to ask Siri to bring up files on a specific topic from a certain time period, then you can easily drag the results from the search into other apps.

Of course, you can also ask Siri to play songs from a playlist and more. One particularly thrilling example from the keynote was using Siri to quickly pull up a movie trailer, buy tickets, and then pay with Apple Pay by authenticating on your iPhone.
