Redesigned tvOS Remote app brings full Siri Remote functionality to your phone

Along with big improvements to tvOS itself, Apple has also announced at WWDC that the company will be releasing an updated tvOS Remote App as well. This will bring all the features of the Siri Remote right to your phone, and much more. You'll be able to easily control the playback of what is on the screen, use your keyboard for quick text entry and more.

The Touch pad will make navigating the OS elements even easier, and Siri commands will help launch apps, find information and even more with speed and ease.
