Ultimate Ears’ Boom 2 and Megaboom pick up Siri integration

Ultimate Ears is rolling out a firmware update to the UE Boom 2 and Megaboom that brings Siri and Google Now integration to the Bluetooth speakers. With the update, you can press the Bluetooth button and ask Siri to play music, check the weather, search for nearby restaurants, and much more.
As the speakers are water-resistant, integrating Siri lets you select and play tunes without having to access your iPhone. You can install the firmware update through the companion apps for UE Boom and Megaboom.
The UE Boom 2 is available for $179, while the Megaboom retails for $249.
