The App Store prepares for upcoming Single Sign-On feature with dedicated app pages

For those using an iPhone or iPad running one of the beta versions of iOS 10.2, Apple has started populating special pages on the App Store that are meant to work with the update's Single Sign-On feature for cable logins. These sections are tailored for use with your particular provider, and will only show apps that work with that subscription.

The change was first noted by a poster on Reddit:

Up until today if you were on the beta and signed into SSO there was a button that said "Find More Apps" that would send you the app store but would never populate. As of today it is now populating with apps compatible to your cable subscription.

If you're on the beta, simply head to Settings > General > TV Provider. If you're signed in with your cable account, tap the Find More Apps button to head to the App Store page. Note that some providers, like Sling TV, currently have empty pages. When you download and use an app that supports Single Sign-On, you'll evidently need to give permission for your login credentials to be used, much as you would if the app was asking for microphone, camera, or location data access.

Single Sign-On, which is set to arrive with iOS 10.2, along with tvOS 10.1 on the Apple TV, will allow you to sign in once with your cable login information, with apps that require a cable login pulling those credentials from iOS or tvOS, rather than requiring your to enter them again and again. While the feature is still in beta, only a handful of cable companies are supported, including Dish, DirecTV, and Sling TV.
