In this week's selection of films and shows on Amazon Prime, a surgeon and his family find themselves plagued by mysterious afflictions as a teenager enters their lives, forcing the surgeon to make a deadly choice. An original documentary series follows the 2017 season of the Michigan Wolverines, tracking the players and coaches both on and off the field as they hope to maintain the school's football legacy. Finally, watch the adventures of a little girl as she grows up in a budget motel just outside Disney Wold.

  • The Killing of a Sacred Deer - After a grave mistake years before, a surgeon and his family find themselves terrorized by a teenager who seems to have some supernatural hold over them. As the conditions visited upon his family get progressively worse, the surgeon's actions becomes increasingly desperate leading to dark consequences for the entire group.
  • All or Nothing: The Michigan Wolverines - This behind the scenes sports series takes a look at the Michigan Wolverines during their 2017 season. The series takes a look at the lives of the coaches and players both on and off the field as the try to carry on the legacy of the team from Ann Arbor.
  • The Florida Project - This film follows the life of a six-year-old girl as she lives with her young mother in a budget motel close to Disney World. While the child spends her summer days having fun with her friends, she remains unaware of the difficulties of the life her and her mother lead.

Looking ahead

This week's new additions to Amazon's Prime Video lineup starts Hours, a film set at the beginning of the Hurricane Katrina disaster who has to save himself and his newborn daughter after his wife dies in childbirth and the storm begins to rage across New Orleans. You can check out I Can Do Bad All by Myself, which focuses on a night club singer who is suddenly forced to open up her home to her niece and nephews, becoming a parent for the first time overnight. Finally, Detective Harry Bosch must solve the murder of an attorney that was about to sue the LAPD before Los Angeles descends into riots in the fourth season of Amazon's original series, Bosch.

  • Hours - Set in the run up to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, this disaster film centers on Nolan Hayes, a man left to raise his new daughter alone after his wife dies in childbirth. Nolan must fight for his life and that of his newborn daughter as the hurricane bears down on New Orleans. Arrives April 10.
  • I Can Do Bad All by Myself - A self-centered, alcoholic night club singer finds her life turned upside down when she is forced to start taking care of niece and two nephews following the death of their grandmother. As she grows to accept the children as part of her life, she must confront her own past and learn to actually love herself so that she may love others. Arrives April 12.
  • Bosch - Season 4 - Detective Harry Bosch is chosen to lead a special LAPD task force after an attorney is murdered just as he is about to start his civil rights trail against the department. Bosch must find the perpetrator or perpetrators of the crime before Los Angeles explores into riots. But Bosch is surprised to find that the attorney's murder coincides with one from his past, which he'll have to reckon with if we hopes to solve the case. Arrives April 13.
