Apple starts shipping the first batch of Apple Watch pre-orders

Apple has started shipping the first batch of Apple Watch pre-orders, according to numerous customers who have received shipping notifications.

Some of those with pre-orders have spotted the anticipated "Shipped" status update. Following on from "preparing for shipment", said lucky customers are seeing their Apple Watch order status altered to reflect their unit being in transit.

It was only yesterday when UPS started sending out tracking information regarding Apple Watch pre-orders. Things are certainly looking up for some who eagerly await the release of the new wearable.
