Breaking news alerts and more come to Microsoft Edge beta for iOS

Microsoft continues to expand Edge's features on iOS with breaking news alerts and much more.
Microsoft Edge has embraced a relatively rapid update cycle since it hit mobile devices last year, and it's continuing that trend with its latest update for iOS beta testers. The latest release through Apple's TestFlight program brings breaking news alerts, along with annotations in books, and much more to the fore (via OnMSFT).
The additions of breaking news alerts and annotations in books are probably the highlights here, but it's worth noting the latter is a little limited. While you can view the annotations, you're not allowed to ink on PDFs.
However, in addition, this release brings the ability to be signed into both work and school accounts while keeping their browsing histories separate. You can also now organize your favorites folder however you want, and a new "What's new" section in settings will keep you up-to-date with the latest features.
This update follows the release of a fairly major update that hit Edge for iOS last month, bringing with it intelligent visual search, more default search options, and a few extra features for those signed in with a work or school account.
To check out all of what's new, you'll have to already be enrolled in the Microsoft Edge beta through Apple's TestFlight program. Otherwise, look forward to this update rolling out to everyone in the coming weeks.
