Satechi announces new wired and wireless aluminum Mac keyboards

Two new options in a few color choices.
Satechi has been making accessories to go with the gadgets we use the most for quite some time, and now the company is introducing two new keyboard options that are designed for use with Mac machines. Both keyboards are constructed of a high-quality aluminum, and you'll be able to pick between a wired and Bluetooth version, based on your personal preference. You can use any keyboard with your Mac, but not all of them have the convenience of a keyboard designed specifically for them. These two options will have intuitive macOS function hot keys, including the ability to play and pause music, change brightness, switch apps, and more with just the press of a button.
In addition to these hot keys, the keyboard has a full number pad, which is something that some people rely heavily on. The Bluetooth keyboard can connect to up to three devices at the same time and easily switch between them thanks to the designated Bluetooth assignment key. It recharges via USB-C and offers up to 80 hours of usage per charge and can sit in standby for up to 100 days. You can charge it using any USB port and continue to use it via Bluetooth connection on your PC, so you don't need to worry about finding an extra USB port on your computer to be able to continue using it. The wired option can be plugged into your Mac and configured using the "Keyboard Set Up Assistant" in just seconds.
Both of these options come in silver, space gray, gold, and rose gold, which is something that no other keyboards offer. They also both feature enhanced scissor switch keys for a great typing experience. The wired keyboard will be available for $59.99, and the wireless variant will retail for $79.99. Only the silver option is available right now, though, with the other three colors becoming available by the end of September.
If you're looking for some other great Mac-specific keyboards to consider, Logitech's wireless K750 solar keyboard is a personal favorite that looks and feels great, though you can also opt for Apple's Magic wireless keyboard for more than double the cost. The Space Gray version of Apple's Magic Keyboard still clocks in at $150, which is a significant premium.
