How to save your battery while playing Ghostbusters World

Best answer: A battery pack is the best way to keep your phone juiced up while you're playing Ghostbusters World on the go. Lighter is better, but you still need to be able to keep the juice flowing for as long as you need it.

For longer session, there's nothing better than an external battery

A portable power bank or battery pack will save you during those long busting sessions. You can get them as large or as compact as you like, though sticking with a battery pack of at least 5000mAh would be best. That should make sure your phone makes it at least until the end of your gaming session.

If you need more than the Anker Astro E1 can deliver, we have a few more favorites.

Some other ways you can save your battery while playing Ghostbusters World

Turn your brightness down

If you're not outside, or it's not a particularly blazingly sunny day, turn your brightness down. Obviously, make it so you can still see your screen in full, but diminishing brightness just that little bit will help conserve quite a bit of battery since your screen consumes a good chunk of your battery on a given day anyway.

Turn AR mode off

Yes, it's fun to start, but AR mode will murder your phone's battery faster than you can say "Stay Puft." There's a button on the top right of ghost encounters that simply says "AR On." Once you've beat Slimer, you should be able to simply tap that during your next ghost battle and turn AR off.

You may think you're missing out on a key part of the game, but it's only fun for a bit. Plus, you'll have the added advantage of better accuracy and better animation with AR turned off.

Play only while on Wi-Fi for now

It may prevent you from going out and about, but you can capture quite a few ghosts from the comfort of your own home, and you can play the story mode on the spot. So use only Wi-Fi instead of LTE, which will help save a bunch of battery too.

Candy bar-sized

Ghostbusters World, rather unfortunately, does not has a Battery Saver like Pokémon GO, which darkens the screen when your phone is upside down, so you'll have to make do with a battery bank and some battery saving savvy for now.
