Apple's latest iPhone models are easier to charge than any previous Apple devices: The iPhone 8 and newer support the Qi standard, which offers contact-based "wireless" charging. That also means the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, or iPhone XR will all support wireless charging.
Qi charging has been around for a few years, which means that users have a wide variety of options. Whether you want a simple disc that gets the job done like mophie's wireless charging base, or something with a bit more going on, like Nomad's Wireless Hub, these are the best wireless charging pads you can buy. All of them support a minimum of 5W charging and will work with most (thin) cases.
Reminder: Don't put credit cards between your wireless charger and your iPhone unless you want them to become inoperable.
